Huawei OptiX OSN 6800 V100R004C02: Optical Power Commissioning Procedures
Generally, the portion between two OTMs in the OptiX WDM system is considered as one network segment. One network segment has two signal flow directions, namely the transmit direction and the receive direction.

In the case of an Huawei Transmission OptiX WDM system, the optical power of a network segment is commissioned on a per-NE basis according to the signal flow.

First, commission the transmit optical power of one OTM. Then, commission the optical power of each downstream NE along the transmit direction, and finally commission the receive optical power of the destination OTM. After commissioning the optical along the transmit direction, commission the optical power in the reverse direction of the system.

Project X is considered as an example to describe how to commission the optical power of an OptiX WDM system.

Figure 1 shows the networking diagram of Project X.




Project X consists of two network segments: A-B-C and A-F-E-D-C.
First, commission the optical power on the A-B-C network segment according to the following sequence.
Commission the optical power along the A-B-C signal flow:
At ONE A, commission the optical power to ONE B.
At ONE B, commission the optical power from ONE A.
At ONE B, commission the optical power to ONE C.
At ONE C, commission the optical power from ONE B.
Commission the optical power along the C-B-A signal flow:
At ONE C, commission the optical power to ONE B.
At ONE B, commission the optical power from ONE C.
At ONE B, commission the optical power to ONE A.
    At ONE A, commission the optical power from ONE B.

What is the BGP/MPLS IP VPN? The features

BGP/MPLS IP VPN is a L3VPN (Layer 3 Virtual Private Network). It uses BGP
(Border Gateway Protocol) released VPN routing in the backbone network service providers, the use of MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switch) VPN messages transmitted in the service provider backbone network. Where IP refers to the VPN: the bearing is IP message.

The basic model of BGP/MPLS IP VPN as shown in figure.


The basic model of BGP/MPLS IP VPN consists of three parts: CE, PE and P.

Provider.
A PE device may access multiple CE devices. A CE device can be connected to the same ordifferent service providers
