Description of MA5600T service subrack

Two service sub-racks: 21-inch and 19-inch. The 21-inch sub-rack has 2 more slots on the service board than the 19-inch sub-rack.
The 21-inch sub-rack is widely used in oversea markets. It provides OLT, MSAN and DSLAM plug-in frames. 19-inch sub-rack of R010 version and later versions is available on the oversea MSAN/DSLAM scenario.
The OLT seldom use the 19-inch sub-rack in oversea markets.

Huawei MA5600T is a aggregation Optical Line Terminal(OLT), it supports up to 16 service slots and can support maximum 32K ONT (GPON). A typical MA5600T configuration includes one MA5600T Chassis, two Main Control Board SCUN, two Power Board PRTE, one uplink board GICF (2 GE Optical with SFP Module), several 8 Port GPON board GPBD (with B+ SFP Module) and software. Huanetwork can provide all of these, apart from that, as a Huawei products and solution provider Huanetwork can also provide professional technical support service at additional charge for MA5600T. Huanetwork has Huawei MA5600T and its related cards in stock, and can ship to worldwide, normally if use DHL, it will only take 7 business days to reach customer country. Apart from this bundle, Huanetwork also offers various OLT bundles, some include ONTs, some include FTTH tool kit, some include accessories etc.

Collecting Diagnostic Information for Huawei Switch

Huawei switch supports rich and flexible service features and thus improves the operability, manageability, and service expansibility. The Huawei switches include Huawei data center switches, campus switches (Huawei S9700, S7700, S6700, S5700, S3700, S2700, S9300, S6300, S5300, S3300, S2300 series) and SOHO&SMB switches (Huawei S1700 series), fully meeting enterprise and telecom customers' requirements for flexible networking. Here we will tell you the method to collect diagnostic information for Huawei switches.

The display diagnostic-information command provides outputs of multiple commonly used display commands. You can use this command to view diagnostic information about the switch, including the startup configuration, current configuration, interface information, time, and system version.
The display diagnostic-information [ file-name ] command displays the device diagnostic information on screen or saves the information to a text file (.txt). The device diagnostic information includes startup configuration, current configuration, interface information, time, and system version. The following is an example:
<HUAWEI> display diagnostic-information dia-info.txt
This operation will take several minutes, please wait.........................
................................................................................
...
Info: The diagnostic information was saved to the device successfully.
The default path of the text file is flash:/. You can run the dir command in the user view to check whether the text file has been created.
When a fault occurs on the switch, provide the diagnostic information to the Huawei agent or Huawei immediately for fast fault location.
If diagnostic information is displayed on the screen, you can press Ctrl+C to stop the display any time.
This command is used to collect diagnostic information for fault location. Executing this command may affect the system performance. For example, it may cause a high CPU usage. Therefore, do not run this when the switch is running normally. Do not run this command on multiple terminals connected to the switch at the same time. Otherwise, the CPU usage of the switch will increase sharply, causing system performance deterioration.
NOTE:
All the commonly used terminal configuration programs can save display information to a file. For example, if you are using HyperTerminal on a Windows operating system, choose Transfer > Capture Text, enter a file name, and then click Start. After that, run the display diagnostic-information command. All the diagnostic information is displayed on the terminal screen and automatically saved in a file in the specified path.

Huawei NE40E Series Routers Overview

The Huawei NE40E series universal service router (USR), a high-end network product, features line-rate forwarding capability, a well designed Quality of Service (QoS) mechanism, strong service-processing capability, and excellent expansibility and are usually deployed at the edges of Internet Protocol (IP) backbone networks, IP Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), Internet Data Centers (IDCs) networks and other large-scale IP networks. The NE40E can provide comprehensive services for enterprises, residential as universal edge device.

The NE40E series includes the NE40E-X16/X16A, NE40E-X8/X8A, NE40E-X3 to satisfy the requirement of various scales network.

Appearance of Huawei NE40E Series Routers

Feature of Huawei NE40E Series Routers
Extremely Large Capacity Line Card
The NE40E can support maximum 480G Line Card, which fulfills with the increased network requirements of customers. The powerful 480G line card can support both 100GE and 10GE port types, which can provide customer a flexible configuration. Excelling by the developed chipset technology and fine design technique, NE40E must provide sustainable high bandwidth capacity in the future.

Future-Oriented IPv6-Compatible Solutions
The NE40E supports a variety of IPv6 features including IPv6 leased line, dual stack, tunneling, and translation. The NE40E supports Next Hop Separation to optimize the IPv6 convergence time, supports larger IPv6 FIB and CGN card of 160G throughput to improve the scalability. All of them help to provide comprehensive solutions based on the high performance for transition from IPv6 to IPv4. And owing to the variety of technologies and different situations of provider networks, each provider will certainly select a conservative, reposeful, or aggressive transition technology that is the most suitable for its own network.

All-Round Reliability Solution
The NE40E provides reliability protection at different levels, including the equipment level, network level, and service level. The NE40E can provide a multi-level reliability solution that completely meets the reliability requirements of different services. The NE40E lays the foundation for enterprise services with a system availability of 99.999%.

Enhanced User Management Functions
The NE40E provides Multi Service Edge (MSE) features to manage and control DHCP/IP over Ethernet (IPoE)/leased line access users. The MSE mainly provides dynamic user access, user management, and user-based authentication, accounting, and QoS scheduling. In addition, the MSE implements Bandwidth on Demand (BoD) for different services of enterprise users and for DHCP individual users and changes the unified charging mode to the charging mode based on value-added services, which implements usercentered refined service operation.

Efficient OAM features
NE40E support Ethernet OAM fault management including: Ethernet in the First Mile OAM (EFM OAM), conforming to IEEE 802.3ah and Connectivity Fault Management OAM (CFM OAM), conforming to IEEE 802.1ag.Conforming to ITU-T Y.1731, the NE40E supports performance management to measure the delay, jitter, and packet loss ratio when the messages are transmitted. In this manner, the NE40E can detect the end-to-end performance of traffic in a specified time period and on a specified network segment.
Cooperating with performance management tools such as U2000, NE40E can provide SDH like network OAM, service oriented, intelligent warning, and refined positioning. With supporting efficient and precise performance measurement and test technologies such as IP FPM, TWAMP, RFC2544, G.8032, NE40E can help to simplify the OAM and save the OPEX to a great extend. Besides, the ISP can monitor the network status in real time through the NMS. The ISP then check whether the forwarding capacity of the network complies with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed with users and locate faults. The ISP does not need to carry out detection on the user side, which greatly decreases maintenance costs.
